The Greek culture is one of the oldest civilizations known to man, with recorded history reaching back over
2200 years B.C. The pieces in our Ancient Greek collection are from the Hellenistic period, which lasted from the
time of Alexander the Great (336-323 B.C.) until the beginning of the Christian Era. This was the era of Plato and Aristotle,
of great literary and philosophical pursuits.
